COURSE

OVERVIEW

This course was developed to give an overview of how to safely install and use fire doors. There are practical aspects that cover safe installation and advice on considerations before installation. There will be various start dates throughout the year from October onwards.
You will learn about the role of timber door assemblies and door sets and why it is important they are installed correctly. You will also be taught about how fire door assemblies and door sets work and their place in the wider passive fire protection system.
On a legal note, you will learn about the legislation and guidance associated with fire door assemblies and door sets. You will also learn about considerations before, during and after installing fire door assemblies and door sets.
