OVERVIEW

This course has already started but may run again in the next academic year. To be added to our mailing list and find out if the course is running, please email info@kirkleescollege.ac.uk This course offers a basic introduction to bricklaying. You will learn how to mix mortar and identify the correct tools for your next DIY task at home safely. This introductory session will introduce you to the basic tools and techniques used in this ancient craft. You will be taught by experts and leave the session understanding the core principles of stonemasonry.
Once you complete this introductory course, you will be able to progress to the six-week DIY Bricklaying course with confidence. This longer course will teach you more advanced techniques. Class times: 09:00-12:00
