OVERVIEW

This course has already started but may run again after Easter. To be added to our mailing list and find out if the course is running, please email info@kirkleescollege.ac.uk Join us for an exciting journey of artistic discovery and unlock your creative potential. On this introductory course, you will learn a basic range of ceramic making and decorating processes in our well-equipped studio.
You will be shown how to develop work using hand-building techniques, such as pinching, coiling, slab-building, moulds and the potters’ wheel. In addition, you will be supported and encouraged to develop your understanding and use of clay, its qualities, making techniques, decorative skills and glazing. Class times: Fridays Group 1 9:00-12:00 Group 2: 13:00-16:00
