COURSE

OVERVIEW

This is an introduction/taster session if you are considering studying Level 2 Law and Legal Work, which we are offering from September. In the session, there will be a brief overview of the course content, and then a small task relating to each unit that will be delivered on the course. The three units are English Legal System, Criminal Law, and The Police and Their Powers.
As a student on the course, you will start to develop the following skills: communication, teamwork, problem-solving, applying law to real-life situations, evaluating evidence and legal arguments, and understanding how legal decisions are made This course will take place on Saturday 13 June, 9.30am – 12pm. Email ace@kirkleescollege.ac.uk for further information.
You will explore real-life legal scenarios, collaborate with others to analyse and solve legal issues, and develop your understanding of how the legal system works. You will also take part in enjoyable courtroom-style activities that bring legal concepts to life and encourages practical problem-solving skills.
