OVERVIEW

The Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring is designed to introduce learners about the types, nature, tools, methodologies and complex nature of coaching and mentoring. This course provides in-depth skills, knowledge and understanding of coaching and mentoring tools, theory and methodologies. This course will mean you can work in any sector to apply your skills as a coach or a mentor.
On this course you will learn and study a range of topics including, how to communicate and deliver a client centred approach, how to listen to the client and stakeholders, how to prepare and deliver a coaching and mentoring session, and how to build a client relationship and establish SMART goals for the client. You will be able to conclude and evaluate the relationship and reflect on your own ethics and processes.
By the end of the Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring, you should be able to, understand methodologies and models of coaching and mentoring. You will also be able to apply suitable tools, models or methodology in your role. You should also be able to identify key issues within coaching and mentoring. Finally you will be able to evaluate and review your own ability and performance as a coach or mentor.
