COURSE
OVERVIEW
This class will cover greetings and introductions, phonics, basic vocabulary, core grammar. For returning learners, there will also be extension activities such as advanced vocabulary and advanced individual or group activities.
If you are a returning learner, you will also work with new learners on peer-assisted activities and grouped activities to support their learning and enhance their confidence.
You will develop phonetic awareness, recognising letter sounds to decode simple written words and signs: this will include days of the week, months, colours, countries, names.
To enrol, either attend on the day (16 September) or email ace@kirkleescollege.ac.uk for further information.
Please bring proof of identification, proof of address, income, Home Office documents and National Insurance number.
