Kirklees College is home to one of the leading Engineering and Manufacturing centres in the country, and we have a wide range of adult courses on offer to help upskill in your current engineering and manufacturing role, or retrain.
Our apprenticeships in engineering are very popular with adult learners, and are a great option as they allow you to train whilst in full-time employment. We also offer various Higher National Certificates (HNC) and Higher National Diplomas (HND) in Engineering, including our new HNC in Space Technologies for England course, perfect for anyone with their sights set, literally, on the stars!
Our Engineering adult courses cover a range of specialisms, including 2D computer aided design, fabrication and welding, manufacturing and space technologies. Our courses are designed to meet industry requirements, and offer great upskilling opportunities for people already working in industry, as well as people who are brand-new to the engineering world.
Our courses are also offered at a range of levels, so you will have the opportunity to progress within the college, right up to our Higher Education courses, including HNC and HND in Engineering and Manufacturing, or Space Technologies.
