OVERVIEW
This is the perfect course if you would like to study science related courses at university including core science, radiography, optometry and audiology.
This course is designed to support you on your path to a higher education course in science related disciplines. You will develop your skills and self-confidence to progress to university with unrivalled levels of support from experienced and skilled tutors.
An access to higher education course is designed for adults who wish to change their career, study at degree level or improve their job prospects. If you have been out of education for a while or don’t have the right qualifications for the university course you would like to complete, then an access course is ideal for you.

Entry Requirements
A minimum of GCSE English, maths and a Science at grade C/4 or above. All applicants must be aged 19+. Please note we will need to see certificates/evidence that you have achieved the required GCSE grades. You will not be able to undertake the course without this.
If you have an EHCP then please be aware that the college needs to have agreed, via the consultation period with your local authority, that we can meet the needs outlined in your EHCP before you can start on a course with us.
Assessment Methods
On the course, you will be assessed via written reports, classroom presentations, professional discussions and practical experiments, as well as exams. At the start of the course, assessments are ungraded to support your study skills and academic writing.

Degrees in core science (biology chemistry, physics), forensic science, optometry, pharmacy, radiography, plus a number of other degree courses in related science subjects
