COURSE
OVERVIEW
We offer the Level 3 Award in Education and Training as it is an introductory teaching qualification to prepare learners for employment. It is designed for anyone teaching or wishing to teach in the Education and Training sector in colleges, industry, business or the public services. For those learners already in employment, it provides an opportunity for career progression.
The course offers an insight into the knowledge, understanding and skills necessary to teach effectively in the classroom or training environment. The course includes units on Understanding roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training. Understanding and using inclusive teaching and learning approaches in education and training. Understanding the principles and practices of assessment.
The level 3 award is well recognised within the education and training sector.
The course will run on Mondays, 09:30-12:30.

Entry Requirements
Level 3 qualification in the subject you wish to teach and be working at level 2 in English and maths.
