Introduction to Book Keeping

This course is ideal for anyone wanting to understand double entry bookkeeping with a view to progressing to a professional qualification in the future.

OVERVIEW

This course has already started but may run again in the next academic year. To be added to our mailing list and find out if the course is running, please email info@kirkleescollege.ac.uk Are you using computerised accounting software and want to understand how transactions are processed? Then this course is for you. No prior knowledge of bookkeeping or accounting is required for this course.
We will be covering all the basics including debit and credit entries within the manual bookkeeping system. We will also balance the ledger accounts and extract and complete a trial balance. The course will also cover accounting terminology assets, liabilities, expenses and income. Fridays 10:00 – 2:30
