Painting and Decorating Level 2 Apprenticeship
This apprenticeship is ideal if you already have some knowledge and basic skills in painting and decorating and want to make a start in your career.

COURSE
OVERVIEW
Working both indoors and outdoors, you will start to work independently or as part of a team. Your work might include preparing surfaces and applying water-based and solvent-based paints, coatings and wall coverings to achieve a professional finish.
As a painting and decorating apprentice, you will work for an employer and further enhance your skills with theory lessons at Kirklees College.

Entry Requirements
A minimum of grade 2 in both English and Maths. To start your apprenticeship, you must have secured employment that the college has agreed is suitable.
