Kirklees College offers a wide range of teaching courses and professional qualifications including the PGCE, Cert Ed and Level 5 Teaching Diploma. The courses offer a lower cost option and cover primary, secondary and further education, to provide you with an insight into all elements of teaching.

Kirklees College is easily accessible and my sessions are in the evening, which works around my schedule. The sessions not only provide you with the core content of initial teacher education but also a great deal of scope to encourage self-development, explore our own provision and challenge us to better our practice.
I would encourage anyone who has been out of education for a long time, like myself, to give it a go. My tutor is so organised and the course is really well written and run. The subject librarian has also supported me to develop my digital literacy.
