Kirklees College is delighted to announce the launch of a new apprenticeship programme, Administrative Assistant Level 2.
For an organisation, assistant administrators will be responsible for assisting colleagues with routine duties. These can vary depending on the team structure and size of business. They use digital systems and tools to collate, extract and enter data.
An assistant administrator is an integral part of the team and organisation responsible for supporting the efficient organisational functions and operations.
Apprenticeships offer a unique opportunity for a student to learn whilst they earn and gain a national qualification whilst in employment. Apprenticeships are designed alongside employer partners to reflect the current needs of different industries.

Paul Edwards, Head of Apprenticeships and Business Development at Kirklees College, said: “The introduction of this apprenticeship standard represents another fantastic opportunity not only for people to start a new career but also for employers to fill skill gaps and introduce new talent to their organisation.”
For employers, what can these apprentices bring to your organisation?
They can have a significant impact on organisations by filling skill gaps and providing long-term value. It allows employers to bring new talent into their workforce and develop skills from the ground up, helping to build more diverse and inclusive workforces.
Teams can also gain great satisfaction from watching their apprentices grow and develop.
