The KC Community initiative encourages students to be positive and productive members of the college community by reflecting on how they can improve themselves and inspire others.

As part of this, the new respect campaign promotes the college values of inclusivity, support and respect and increases collective responsibility for keeping the college environment supportive and safe during a challenging time for the education sector.

Through encouragement from staff, the Students’ Union and posters around the college sites, the campaign aims to foster healthy habits amongst the student community by asking them to respect the KC Community by speaking out against racism, using appropriate language and valuing their differences.

The impact of coronavirus means that as well as showing respect for their peers, students must also follow guidelines on social distancing and we are encouraging all members of our community to look for green alternatives, including cycling or walking to college where possible.
