A range of students from Kirklees College have been celebrating after achieving incredible results across Level 3 and T Level courses.
This success is a testament to their hard work and determination. Throughout their time at Kirklees College, they have also been supported by their inspiring tutors on the path to these incredible achievements.
In Business, Seb Golby achieved a triple Distinction on his Level 3 course and has now accepted a place at York University. Aziz Hashmi and Anesu Mujawo also achieved this exceptional set of results.
On the T Level in Management and Leadership, all students achieved either a Distinction or Merit. This included Eden Aliyu, Jesse Njahia and Bailey Walsh.
The next generation of educators and early years professionals are also celebrating some fantastic results. Four students (Lilly Hatfield, Manahil Saeed, Romaisa Ahmed, Kiran Hussain) from Education and Early Years courses have been accepted into their first-choice universities to continue their studies in Early Years or Primary Education. Two additional students (Zahra Iqbal and Zara Nasir) have secured employment after thriving in their placement settings.
Many students are now ready to start their careers
Aiden King has also found an apprenticeship after completing his Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering. Aiden joined the college as a student on the Level 2 Certificate in Engineering and has shown remarkable progress in his education and training.
Josh Taylor achieved a Distinction in his Electrical T Level, having worked incredibly hard over the last two years. Josh has now secured an apprenticeship with Ryan Electrical & Lighting in Huddersfield.
Amelia Smith achieved two Merits and a Distinction in Animal Management Level 3 and has secured a technician role at Kirklees College at Taylor Hill after a successful interview.
On our Digital Development and Computing courses, William Burge is in the process of getting a cybersecurity job within the retail sector. Jacob Thomas is showing entrepreneurial spirit and has created his own company, working freelance as a full-stack developer with different clients.
